Innovation, Technology and Industry Secretary Visits EdUHK to Learn of Innovation and Research Development

The Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Professor Sun Dong visited The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) on 10 July 2024. The visit provided an opportunity to share KreativeLab’s advancements in educational innovation and explore collaborative opportunities to enhance student learning experiences.

One of the highlights of the visit was a showcase of KreativeLab’s flagship project, the e-Orch, led by Dr. Leung Chi-hin, the Chief Advisor at KreativeLab and Assistant Professor at EdUHK. Dr. Leung presented the development of the e-Orch and its accompanying app, emphasizing its transformative impact on students’ musical development. The interactive demonstration highlighted how e-Orch fosters creativity and engagement, equipping students with skills for the future.

Professor Sun hoped that more academic institutions and industries will collaborate to jointly promote technological innovation and educational development. Through collaborative research, they can develop educational products and solutions that better meet students' needs, enhance teaching quality, and cultivate more outstanding talents with global perspectives and innovative capabilities.

KreativeLab will keep on updating and making improvements for joining hands with schools to benefit students’ musical development.
